Is there aluminum in realum?
Yes, but it is not the kind you’re used to. Traditional antiperspirants use Aluminum Chlorohydrate, which has tiny molecules that penetrate your skin and plug your sweat glands. realum is made of 100% Potassium Alum, a natural mineral with molecules so large they cannot be absorbed. It stays safely on the skin's surface.
Does it actually stop sweating?
No, and that’s a good thing! Sweating is your body’s natural way of cooling down and flushing toxins. realum is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It allows you to sweat naturally while its mineral salts neutralize the bacteria that cause odor, keeping you smelling clean all day.
How long does one crystal last?
A single realum crystal is incredibly dense and durable. With daily use, one stick can last up to 3 - 4 Months. This makes it significantly more economical and eco-friendly than buying plastic tubes of traditional deodorant every month.
Will it irritate my sensitive skin?
realum is hypoallergenic and free from the synthetic fragrances, alcohols, and parabens that typically cause rashes. Its natural astringent properties even help soothe the skin after shaving. However, we always recommend a patch test on a small area if you have extremely reactive skin.
How do I apply it correctly?
The crystal must be wet to work. Simply moisten the top of the stone or apply it to damp skin immediately after your shower. Be sure to rub it thoroughly (about 20–30 passes) to ensure a strong mineral barrier.
Will it stain my clothes?
No. Unlike traditional sticks that leave white waxy residue or yellow stains on white shirts, realum is a clear mineral that leaves no marks on any fabric.
